“Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet”, rightly said by Albert Einstein. People in the 19th century consumed more and more meat and believed that...

We evolved as meat eaters and if you eat with proper portions than your body and health will be better than just eating vegetables
The mostly poor of the world don’t care about the idealistic thoughts of the comforable fewer humans and will eat and should eat anything living or dead
We are the top of the food chain for a reason and that is we evolved to eat almost anything that grows or moves on earth including our own species

THE hungry humans will know what i am saying but the dizzy selfish that want the world to be what they want wouldn’t undertand logic if it hit them in their dizzy heads

Wonderful, yes go veg to save the planet! Live and let live including animals, that’s a very good thought.

As far as the hungry humans, do not populate the earth in the first place so much that there would be hunger and malnutrition in this world. If you ca’t afford kids, don’t have have a high number of kids at all. Vegetarian food also costs less, the poor would beter understand this.

The link gives some good environmental reasons too.

Would you like to be the one not given access to earth
Life isn’t as simple as to choose kids or not choose kids because poverty and the lack of education doesn’t allow these choices that seem simple and don’t effect people like you that aren’t being judged
Most humans believe in a god or gods and the gods put animals and plants on earth to eat for the conscious fewer to be conscious in order to glorify that god
Now the dizzy of earth go hug your dog or cat while the poor starve and you can look to your dizzy human emotion watching millions of humans die
What a messed up earth we live in when our food is more important than our own species
Now you run with the dizzy and play in your world of dizzy

Wayne, I have been a voracious non - vegetarian once, but now I am a strict veggie after reading aplenty of stuff on global warming as well as on God and humans.

What you are indulging in is called as ad - hominem. Refrain from that. I see so many fallacies in your statement.

I found so many pathetic errors in what you said.

”Most humans believe in a god or gods and the gods put animals and plants on earth to eat for the conscious fewer to be conscious in order to glorify that god

This is a logical fallacy called as arhumentum ad numerum. Because most humans ’think’ so doesn’t mean it is the truth. Many humans believed at a point of time that there is nothing wrong in slavery. So, is slavery a good thing because most humans believed it to be? God did not say eat animals. Why not eat humans then? Why would He give emotions to animals just like us at the first place?
And why is that ancient religion of Hinduism and Buddhism stress on vegetarianism whereas the later ones don’t?

”Would you like to be the one not given access to earth ”
Can you ask this question to someone who has never been born? Same with animals. Once an animal comes on earth, do not kill it unless necessary. Think you are a chicken (all animals strive for survival), and then ask the question that you have asked.

As for abortions, abortions have in fact reduced crime rate. I suggest you read Freakonomics of Stephen Levitt for that, or there must be a lot of stuff on the internet. India and China are good examples of low crime rate despite billion - plus population. Legalizing abortion even reduced crime rate in ’90s in USA. It is the orphans, the unwanted kids at a home that are paid less attention that turn out to be criminals in future. Take Osama, one of 54 siblings, Dawood, one of 10 siblings born in lower - middle class family of India, Kasab behind 26/11, one of children who was thrown out of home. I can go on and on.

”Now the dizzy of earth go hug your dog or cat while the poor starve and you can look to your dizzy human emotion watching millions of humans die

Can’t poor starved people eat vegetarian food??? It is even cheaper. I support population control so that number of starved will be less in the world at first place. It’s an irony of the world that poor procreate the most. Population growth is the highest in poorest of the countries.

”What a messed up earth we live in when our food is more important than our own species ”
Yes, our species are more important. And thats why I say preserve them with care. That’s why population control is a must a first place. The Malthusian problem has already erupted in the world. The world is already an overpopulated place. Give quality of life to humans, not quantity. A diamond is better than 1000 pebbles.

Also, the planet has to exist FIRST for all your species to exist and eat food.

”Now you run with the dizzy and play in your world of dizzy ”
I seriusly hate these personal attacks that you are making, but nevertheles I won’t indulge in this for long. I welcome you in the real world where global warming is occuring, biodiversity loss is occuring, and vegetarianism is a need of the hour to save the planet, though western think thanks don’t like to accept this. UN Council had stressed on vegetarianism sometime back for combating global warming. If you think global warming is not for real, ignore my comment. Poeple living in reality know that.

Your approach is to have a high number of humans and then make an excuse for killing animals (which is a sin even if most humans will dislike that) and give them animals as food for their survival. That’s what most humans did (remember argumentum ad numerum) and we have an ecological problem today with climate crisis in it!!!

A better approach is to control number of humans itself. That not only ensures better chances of prosperity for all, but also does not cause ecological concerns.

Dig a hole and then go for filing it, or do not dig a hole at first place itself. What is better?

Thanks. I will soon come up with a post on population control.

I think the only time we as a people become truly vegetarians is to use a similar process like for animals, use genetic manipulation on future births of people. I know that won’t fly. Isn’t this the way GOD made us to live on this planet, to be meat and plant eaters.

Wayne,

Glad to read the reply.
Difference of opinion will always exist and who knows, that is probably even good for us! As I said, lets refrain from any personal attacks. oppose the idea, not the person. Humans are sacred, beliefs are not!

This place would rather become one meant for mudslinging and we would keep fighting like pigs if we happen to attack personally. It is not you - vs - me, after all!

I agree with you
The way i write is more about observation than my personal feelings and reflect my frustration on the way we evolved where something has to hurt for something to feel good and vice versa
Anyone that wants good for life is a credit to live—

Having been raised in a Hindu family, I was also raised vegetarian so I did not question or analyze the benefits of vegetarianism, in contrast to eating meat, for several years. But I have realized that it has helped me balance my budget, have a healthy diet, and reduce my carbon footprint on my planet. It is vegetarianism’s unique ability to address cost, physical health, and my environmental impact, that inspired me to intern with Meatless Monday, a non profit health initiative with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Meatless Monday encourages cutting meat consumption to reduce the risk of preventable diseases like diabetes and heart disease while reducing our carbon footprint.
